Kathmandu – Punam Chand, the spiker from Nepal Police Club, and Aimal Khan, the captain of the Pakistan National Volleyball Team and a key spiker for Help Nepal have been named the Most Valuable Players of the 7th PM Cup NVA Women’s and Men’s National Volleyball Club League.
Aimal’s exceptional performance led Help Nepal to an undefeated victory in the 7th PM Cup. With Aimal’s outstanding contributions, Help Nepal defeated Nepal Police Club 3-1 in the final and was crowned champions.
Likewise, Punam played a crucial role in Nepal Police Club’s journey to clinching the 7th PM Cup title. Nepal Police Club triumphed over their departmental rivals, Nepal APF Club, with a score of 3-1 in the final on Saturday. Both Most Valuable Players were rewarded with NRs. 35,000 each.
The winners received NRs. 6,00,000 each, while the runners-up received NRs. 3,00,000. The third-place team received NRs. 1,50,000, and the fourth-place team earned NRs. 75,000. Additionally, cash prizes of Rs. 15,000 were awarded to the best server, setter, blocker, spiker, libero, and coach. Furthermore, the emerging players were each rewarded with NRs. 10,000.
