Nepal National Women Volleyball Team’s spiker Pratibha Mali has been named Best Foreign Player in Maldives National Volleyball Tournament that concluded on Friday at Social Center Indoor Hall.
After the completion of the 7th NVA National Volleyball Club Championship at Kathmandu, Pratibha flew toward the Maldives to compete in Maldives National Volleyball Tournament where she featured Club Wamco.
Pratibha, who played a crucial role to help her team clinch the title of the tournament was named the Best Foreign Player. Pratibha was also adjudged the Player of the Match in Club Wamco’s final outing against Club Volleyball.
Club Wamco beat Club Volleyball in a set of 3-1. Winning the first set comfortably by 25-11, Club Wamco fell behind in the second set by 22-25. However, they won the two sets further by 25-19 and 25-14 to clinch the title of the tournament.
This is the fourth title for Pratibha in the Maldives. Earlier, she won the titles with Masjid Road Team in 2016 and 2017 and with Maldives Police in 2019.
