Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Nepal have been pitted in Group ‘B’ of the home SAFF Women’s Championship 2024. Nepal have been drawn in Group B at the draw ceremony held in Dhaka on Saturday.
Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan make up the group alongside Nepal. Similarly, five-time champions India, defending champions Bangladesh along with Pakistan fill Group A.
Nepal have been given the duty to host the tournament for a second successive time from October 17 to 30 at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.
The previous edition saw Bangladesh defeat hosts Nepal in the final 3-1 to win their first title. The first five editions of the tournament went to India.
