Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled an annual cricket calendar for the year 2024. The calendar was unveiled amid a program held at the TU Cricket Ground on Thursday afternoon.
The calendar includes the schedule of different cricketing events for the senior Men’s National Team along with the Women’s National Team, men and women age groups, List-A as well as domestic tournaments.
The senior Men’s National Team are set to play seven ODIs against Canada, including a series at home in February. On top of that, the team will also play a T20 and an ODI (League 2) tri-series against Namibia and the Netherlands at home starting mid-February.
Nepal will also play a League 2 tri-series in September in Canada. Canada will host Nepal and Oman. The final League 2 triangular series of the year will be held in October between Nepal, the USA and Scotland in the USA.
According to the calendar, Nepal will also play a four-nation T20I series from March 6 to 12. A series of five ODIs and three T20 matches will also be played between Nepal A and Ireland A at home from March 19 to 30.
There will also be a triangular T20I series between Canada, Oman and Nepal in September.
Domestically, CAN has announced an Elite Trophy for the top four teams in the PM Cup. The Elite Trophy will be held in a three-day format according to the calendar.
